Bonora is a coffee-producing village in the highlands of Sidama, Arbegona. The Sidama Region of Ethiopia has 30 districts in total, including Arbegona. Arbegona, which is now the part East Sidama Zone, is bordered on the south by Bona Zuria, the southwest by Bursa, the north by the Oromia Region, the northwest by Gorche, and the east by Bensa. Arbegona district's largest town is called Arbegona. 

Among other coffee-growing regions in the nation, the altitude of is the highest at around 2,200m above sea level. This region's coffee is referred to as Highland Coffee. This highland coffee from the region consistently places in the Cup of Excellence. With 7 of the top 10 lots of coffee being grown in Sidama.
